How to be placed on an agenda or address the council?
Contact the City Clerk at 641-949-6294 or jgeerycoh@gmail.com with name and topic, no later than 3 pm the Friday before the regular council meeting is scheduled to occur.
Please have your totes at the curb by 6:00 AM on Thursdays to ensure collection.
When a holiday falls on your pickup day or earlier in the week, your route will be delayed by one day. We are closed on the following holidays:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
When are regular council meetings?
Regular council meeting sessions are held on the second Monday of each month at 6 pm at the City Hall/Community Building. If a holiday falls on this day, the meeting will take place the following day.
When is City Wide Clean Up Day?
Traditionally, City Wide Clean Up Day is held on the second Saturday in June, with an alternate rain date the following Saturday.
