To set up a new water and sewer utility account, contact Marion Country Rural Water District at 641-842-3304 or for office hours and for more information visit the Marion County Rural Water District website.
Monthly garbage fee: $20.00. Garbage bills are mailed out on the first of each month and due on the 15th. Garbage pick-up takes place every Thursday unless there is a holiday that week then pick up takes place on Friday. To set up a garbage pick-up account please contact the clerk at 641-949-6294.
Payment may be made with check, money order or cash. If you would like to signup for automatic debits from your checking account, please fill out the following form including a voided check mailed to our P.O. Box. Mail:

City Park
The City Park is open daily from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Located at 300 Main St., Harvey, IA 50119
Community Building
Harvey’s Community Building is available to rent for events such as family reunions, birthday parties and more. Rental Fee: $125.00 per day with a $125.00 refundable deposit. Reservations may be made by contacting the clerk at 641-949-6294. The Community Building is located at 300 Main St., Harvey, IA 50119.
Monthly City Council Meetings
Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the City Hall (Community Building) located at 300 Main St., Harvey, IA 50119.
If you would like to be on the agenda to address the council, please notify the clerk at 641-949-6294 no later than the Friday before the scheduled meeting.
